For Students: Yummy Yule Treats: Thanksgiving and Christmas are a great time to make fun, holiday goodies. For students in Grades K-3 Music Exploration: Instill the love of music in your child now! These classes will introduce your children and involve them in an exciting music program based on current research designed and delivered by Ms. Peggy Wood. Piano Lessons Just for Me!: Learning to play piano is a great activity for all ages. These piano lessons will instruct the beginning student in basic piano knowledge, note reading, technique, and music theory. Northwood's Tumblers: Back again for a second year, participants will take part in an exciting, growing gymnastics program where they will be taught dynamic floor exercises, vibrant vault skills, amazing beam complexes, and energetic bar routines. Your child will have so much fun while gaining strength, coordination, and flexibility. |

| For Adults and Students: Tumbling With Your Tot: Dad or mom, this is a great opportunity for you to spend some quality time with your toddler. |

For Adults: Adult Open Skate: Hayward School's Community Education program in conjunction with the Hayward Sports Center would like to invite you to participate in an Adult Open Skate. Discover Yoga: Yoga is about creating balance in the body through flexibility, done with pses or postures, each which has a specific physical benefits. Burn the B.A.T.H.: Burn Calories and Boost Your Metabolism with this hip, hot and innovative workout that targets just about every woman’s trouble spots! Open Weight Room and Conditioning: The use of weights in a complete fitness program has emerged as a key component along with cardio-conditioning and a proper diet. |

To register for any of these fun and exciting classes, please print the registration form, fill it out, and along with the appropriate fee, mail it or drop it off at the Workforce Development Center (located behind the high school old Alternative school building). Reminder to Parents: If school is canceled for any reason all community education classes are also canceled. Do you have a talent or hobby that you would be willing to share with kids? Please call me if you would be interested in teaching a community education class. |
